Installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems is classified as high-risk work, requiring thorough inspections before energizing.
We provide detailed inspection reports for residential solar inspections, commercial solar inspections, and utility-scale solar farms.
Any solar PV installation that is Low Voltage (LV), whether grid-connected or standalone system, that includes inverters and battery storage, falls under inspection requirements.
The Solar PV installations have to comply with the requirements stated in AS/NZS 5033 standards and the Solar PV inverter has to meet all the requirements stated in AS/NZS 4777 standards, if a battery has been installed it has to meet all the requirements stated in the the recently cited battery standard AS/NZS 5139.
Before booking an inspection, please ensure you have the relevant documentation completed. For a Solar inspection a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) as well as the network approval letter is required at the time of inspection. An electronic copy is to be sent to hreinspections@gmail.com prior to the job being booked, if possible.
